Grassroots Graduates
The world over, pastors and church leaders need solid training to do their jobs well. TEN training aims to reach pastors and church leaders who have had no Bible school or seminary training.
In November TEN had 80 graduates in Tsiroanomandidy, Madagascar. These students completed all 16 manuals of TEN’s curriculum. Two other training centers in Madagascar had a total of 240 more graduates.
TSIROANOMANDIDY TRAINING CENTRE GRADUATION/MADAGASCAR
All of these Malagasy graduates are the grassroots leaders that TEN aims to reach: they had no basic training, nor biblical nor theological training; most are poor economically-speaking, and they are in charge of the church! But above all, they are people truly committed to serving God and the church. God has given us the grace to have access to these men and women and to serve them.
Across French-speaking Africa, students are completing our training. Once a training center has covered all the TEN material, the trainer will move on to another geographical area to start instructing a new group of pastors and church leaders. The trainers will occasionally return to the areas where the training has been completed to offer extra courses in areas of interest to the pastors.
Prayer Points:
For every TEN graduate, there are 2 or 3 participants who attended some of the sessions, but not all of them. Pray that TEN would know how to help them complete their training while also moving on to another location. (The training centers are far enough apart that most students cannot attend at another location.)
Please pray that the Lord will continue to transform pastors’ and church leaders’ lives through the training provided by TEN.
Pray that as training centers complete the 16 manuals, we will effectively direct our training to other areas with pastors and church leaders asking for our training.
